Our Commitment to Every Child

The journey of MisFit Project ABA Foundation began with a powerful realization: far too many families across Missouri struggle to find behavioral support that truly fits their everyday lives. Years of firsthand experience in early childhood education, educational leadership, and clinical ABA services revealed a growing gap between traditional therapy models and what children genuinely need at home, at school, and within their communities. Too often, support feels limited to clinical settings, while families face long waitlists, inconsistency, financial barriers, and systems that leave children misunderstood or underserved.

MisFit Project ABA Foundation was created to help change that reality throughout Missouri. Our mission centers on meeting children exactly where they are — whether that is at the kitchen table, in a busy classroom, at a community event, or during everyday routines. We believe every child deserves individualized, compassionate care built on clinical expertise, meaningful collaboration, and real-world support that extends beyond the walls of a clinic.

By empowering caregivers, partnering with educators, supporting underserved communities, and creating sensory-friendly and inclusive opportunities, we help children develop life-changing skills while fostering confidence, independence, safety, and belonging. Our approach is rooted in neurodiversity-affirming practices that honor each child’s strengths while helping families access the tools and resources they need to thrive.

Driven by compassion and community impact, MisFit Project ABA Foundation is committed to breaking down financial, systemic, geographic, and social barriers to care across the state of Missouri. Through caregiver education, adaptive resources, community partnerships, advocacy, and individualized support initiatives, we strive to create lasting change for children and families who deserve to feel seen, supported, and included.

In addition to our nonprofit outreach and community initiatives throughout Missouri, MisFit Project ABA also provides individualized ABA therapy and behavioral support services in Kansas. This allows us to continue supporting children and families through direct clinical services while expanding inclusive, community-based resources across the region.

Together, we are building a future where every child has access to meaningful support, every family feels empowered, and every community becomes more inclusive.
